This group covers the non-Asian restaurants, cafes, bars and food businesses that also appear in a mixed-cuisine food scene, including American diners, pizza, Mexican food, burgers, steakhouses and bakeries. Standard US restaurant norms apply: lunch and dinner service with a quieter stretch between, cards and tap-to-pay accepted almost everywhere, and a tip of 15-20% customary for table service. Fast food and quick-service counters expect payment up front and tipping is optional. Bars check ID for anyone who looks under 30, and the drinking age is 21 nationwide. Many restaurants in this group take reservations online through third-party platforms, while casual and fast-food spots are walk-in only. Sales tax is added at the register on top of the menu price and varies by city and state, so the final total is usually a few percent higher than the posted prices suggest.

Syracuse is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around Syracuse is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across New York's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

A 90s video game themed bar with amazing food & drinks. The bar tender, Nick, made our first visit enjoyable. We will return any time we're in the area.

This was one of our favorite spots during our trip! Nicholas was awesomeβ€”great energy, excellent at making cocktails, and really fun to chat with. They have about 15 arcade games, and the aesthetic is such a vibe. The food was wonderful as well. We ordered the Ninja Turtle Shells (so good!), buffalo chicken sliders, 8-bit sliders, and fries, which were perfectly crispy. Nicholas also recommended a sauce (I can’t remember the name), but it was incredible. Since it was our first visit, they even gave us free quarters to play the games, which was such a nice touch. I hope they can expand their location one day - they deserve it! Overall, we had a fantastic experience and will definitely be back next time we’re in town!

There are hands down, no better places in the Greater Syracuse-Auburn area that competes with Three Lives. I'm serious. If you're looking for a local community spot to have an amazing time at, It's here. Exceptional food. Their ghost kitchen in the back is amazing (not to mention a hangover cure the next day with the portion sizes) and they're always packed with flavor. The named drinks on the menu are a smidge pricey but worth every scent. The atmosphere is one of a kind, a blend of modernized classic arcade cabinets, classic arcade cabinets, and an Nintendo Switch behind the bar for interactive entertainment. On each screen (5 of them) they vary between Twitch streams, Anime, gameplay videos, and LoTR (‼️). Whatever's the vibe, they'll turn on and keep it going. This place is a gem. The staff are always amazing and will always match the vibe too. There's a reason why this is my FAVORITE place.

My wife and I visit Syracuse often to see her friend. Three Lives is a stop we will make if we have time. We always enjoyed the atmosphere and it’s one of the few bars I’ve been to that folks are just there to have a respectful and good time. They have a selection of cocktails and shots inspired by different fandoms, most with tongue in cheek jokes folks from the fandom will get a kick out of. We’ve been here numerous times but decided to spend our evening here for Valentine’s Day. When we arrived the host let us know that due to reservations the tables wouldn’t be available but we were welcome to sit at the bar. That was fine with us and to be expected on Valentine’s Day. I started the night with a Ganondorf cocktail and my wife decided to play the roll-a-shot. For their roll-a-shot they give you a 20 sided die and a menu of different shots that coincide with the number you roll. They’re all available if you wanted to order them, but if you’re like me and have a hard time choosing, rolling the die is a great way to let fate decide and try something new. After my cocktail (which was delicious) we decided to do that the rest of the time we were there. We tried a variety of shots th

Cool place to hang out with friends or even get competitive on a date night! We had a blast here and the staff were awesome. They have really cool decorations and wall art. A very unique atmosphere and a great place to make friends/socialize. A ton of games to play at the bar and arcade games all around. The drink menu is really cool and has video game themed drinks. Will definitely be coming back!
